I went through about 30 bottles of hot sauce this year. I tried like 8 brands/flavors. I tried Regular Tabasco (not best taste) Tabasco green (mild but flavorful) Louisianna (too salty) Texas Pete's Texas Pete's Buffalo Frank's Red Hot (too vinegary) Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Zombie (I got it free with a horror dvd I was sent to review...very hot) Taco Bell (I know it's crappy but no heartburn!) and my FAV..... Nance's buffalo! Nance's should be found is most supermarkets. Heck, It has tomato in it too, so it's different. www.brfoods.com/5_3.html is it. I like Texas Pete's Buffalo sauce on wings a lot and Nance's on fancier dishes like chili.

I totally agree about Frank's Original RedHot Sauce. I've had a couple friends rave about it, but I just found it unappealing and frankly not much like hot sauce in my opinion.
I haven't tried a whole lot of sauces, but I do enjoy a good sauce when I taste it. Personally, and maybe I'm crazy, but I love Del Taco's "Del Scorcho" hot sauce. Unfortunately you can only get it in the packets from Del Taco, it's not available commercially. I also like Tapatio Hot Sauce, it's another Mexican hot sauce.

Frank's is only vinegar and cayenne peper. No del tacos here. It's funny but there's a Taco Johns franchise in the mid-west. There are none in my area, dang it!

Del Taco restaurants were originally only in California. They have slowly added locations outside of California over the years, with the most Eastern location being in Tennessee. In a couple years maybe you'll get one in Pennsylvania, John.

Taco John's has a cute mascot - a lil monkey that wears a sombrero and rides a dog. lol www.tacojohns.com/ check out their commercials there. wow, del taco has burgers , fries, and breakfast too! taco john's does too. I wonder why Taco bell doesn't.

Yeah most people I know hate Taco Bell and much prefer Del Taco. They just have better tasting food. Their hamburgers are actually realy good for a fried patty, and the breakfast stuff is good too.
