I used to love cereals like Frosted Flakes, Honeycomb, and Pops when I was a kid and teenager, but now I eat healthier cereals. Nowadays I prefer Post's Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted and sometimes Honey Bunches of Oats with Real Strawberries. I'll also eat Crispex, Special K, and a new one from General Mills Cheerios Crunch Cereal.

I used to like kid's cereals but mainly for the free stuff inside. I did like Frosted Flakes, Sugar Pops, Rice Krispies, Raisin Bran, and Wheaties a lot. Sometimes, I got Cocoa Rice Krispies or Count Chocula. I hated fruit flavors.
Now, I don't care for sweet stuff like I used to. I love Special K and Honey Nut Cheerios. I'm not big on cereal now. I like it dry in snack mixes best.
I used to love getting the 8-10 variety pack of mini boxes of cereal. I spent hours choosing which to eat first. lol
I prefer oatmeal - Quaker Instant Oatmeal is a fav. I love Maple & Brown Sugar, Apple & Cinnamon, and banana nut. Hate the plain stuff. I also like Wheatina.
Brand name cereal prices are insane. Malt-o-meal and stores brands taste just as good for some flavors but not all.

Yeah the prices for GM, Post, and Kellogg's cereals are freaking ridiculous. I get them because there are only two people here eating it, so it lasts. But if there was three or more pople eating the cereal, I would buy the generic or value brands.
I've never been into oatmeal, but I'll admit I haven't tried it that many times. I should try it different ways.

Well, some brands like Special K haven't been duplicated by any lower priced companies that I'm aware of. Cheerios, corn flakes, and rice krispies are copied by everyone.

Oatmeal is my number one. You can't get healthier. Raisin Bran is the second.
