I liked eggs most ways except poached, which are tasteless. Usually, I like them scrambled, over-easy, or soft boiled. Occasionally, I want hard-boiled - not usually for breakfast. I do get sunny side up because they're too slimy on top and a health risk. Turn overs are just as good but better cooked.
It's always a pain to estimate the time for soft boiled because we have differently sized pots made with different metals, which all provide different temperatures. Another thing is our stores keep selling different sized eggs. One week it's medium, another week large, then extra large. Grr! It's difficult to estimate when they're cooked enough but not hard boiled.
I always eat all eggs with toast but often un-buttered for soft boiled or over easy for dipping.
Scrambled, I eat them plain, sometimes with onions, sometimes with meat (ham, bacon, or spam), sometimes with hot sauce while it's frying. Rare occasions, I break up a hash brown into it.

I love eggs, I could eat a dozen for breakfast! I'm pretty picky when it comes to how mine are cooked though. I like them scrambled, over-medium, or hard boiled (that's more of a lunch thing). I don't like my eggs runny, but I don't want them dry either. I like to make omlettes with meats and cheeses, and I like egg sandwiches. The only thing I really don't like with eggs is egg salad. I'm not a huge fan of deviled eggs either, but I will eat them.
Has anyone ever had eggs of a bird besides the chicken? I've always wanted to try ostrich eggs, because they're HUGE!

I only like a runny yolk. Sunnyside up is a runny yolk but also with some runny whites. Blech! It looks like snot. At least the yellow looks like melted cheese. Yes, we do the omelettes but not with cheese too often. I like deviled eggs but only 2 at a time. Egg salad's okay for one thinly layered sandwich but the mayo bugs me. What I dislike most are tuna sandwiches with boiled eggs diced up in them. The texture bbugs me. I've never tried other bird eggs. I saw an episode of Ham on the Street in which they tried to cook an ostrich egg sunnyside up but it won't support the weight and collapses. They just scrambled it and it equaled like 16 chicken eggs. I saw an Emeril recipe that asked for 2 quail eggs. I researched it and found that you buy them 50-100 at a time and it takes about 4 to equal one chicken egg. Who's going to buy 100 just to use 2 (half a chicken egg) for one recipe? Can you even taste it??

I like scrambled the best. I also love poached eggs, eggs over easy sometimes, but usually with over easy I do in bread.

How so? In a sandwich and yolk oozes out? Eh, still not sold on that idea. Paula Deen puts em on burgers. McD's egg mcmuffins used to use turn-overs.
